• It is said that 4000 years ago, in ancient Egypt, bee signs were used to represent the throne. This shows how honeybees have been negotiating and respected with humankind since ancient times. I think that the honeybees visit the flowers and mediate pollen to produce fruit, and the achievement of increasing the production of agricultural products is so great that it does not matter to the production of honey. Beeswax, on the other hand, is used to build nests where bees store nectar. First, wax is secreted as a clear liquid from the eight wax-secreting glands in the abdomen of the worker bee. Worker bees use this to create a hexagonal geometric nest (Bee-Hive) using a rounded jaw with their own mouth, and honey is stored in it.

  • The honey is separated by centrifuging, and the emptied Bee-Hive is repeatedly used for storing honey, and as this process is repeated, the Bee-Hive naturally rises, so a large kitchen knife Scrape off the wax part with. Then the bee will pile up the Bee-Hive with wax again. Wax is collected by scraping it off again. The coarse beeswax that comes out of the beekeeper does not have a certain color. The colors are yellow, yellow-orange, brown, brown, or, in extreme cases, dark brown and black. As mentioned earlier, the wax that has just been secreted from the wax glands in the abdomen of the bee is a colorless and transparent liquid that immediately solidifies into pearl-like flakes when exposed to the outside air. What we now know is that the color of the pollen attached to the bee's body melts into the wax and colors the wax.

  • Bees are roughly classified into Oriental bees and European bees. The properties of the wax collected from them are different. The former has a low acid value of 5 to 8 and a high ester value of 80 to 86, which distinguishes it from other European bees, but its saponification value is 85 to 94, which is roughly similar to that of European bees. Most of the beeswax on the market is of European bee origin. We do not use chemicals other than activated carbon to refine and bleach beeswax, and we are careful not to impair the characteristics of natural wax.
